Community Involvement

The Art Blossom is much more than just a fundraising company. It is an active member of the community. At its inception, I wrestled with the marketing idea of wanting The Art Blossom to sound like a large institution capable of churning out children's art in a factory fashion. Truth is, The Art Blossom isn't that kind of company. Technical efficiencies allow The Art Blossom to turn out quantity work quickly, but not without personal input from schools, or without human intervention. And that is how it should be: efficient, yet personal.
The Art Blossom isn't a typical profit-seeking company. It was founded on the idea of equity and balance for all parties. That is, at some level, there is a wholesome product that allows schools to raise money, parents to purchase a product they love, and workers to take home a decent wage for a decent day's work.
This is the very foundation upon which cities rely. As an active PTO mom and education activist, you'll find me working on your child's art AND working on improving balance and equity in education AND lauding and employing the efforts of both business and ordinary heroes who do the same. Within my own community, you'll find me volunteering my time toward maintaining our school website at http://www.mvsa-fremont.org.
