postheadericon School-Sponsored Programs - Q&A

postheadericon What does it cost a school to participate?

Nothing.  There's no preorder necessary, and your program will receive proofs so that parents can decide once they've seen the art prints.  If you would like to maximize the return to your program, The Art Blossom has several recommendations, including sending more than one piece per student.  Parents who love their children's art tend to purchase multiple pieces.  Sending more pieces will also increase the probability that your school meets the 20 order minimum for the incentive.

postheadericon Are there any art media that you won't accept?

The Art Blossom will attempt to produce the highest quality prints from your originals.  Be advised however, that light pencil and very light crayon do not transfer well.  If you have a 3-dimensional object such as a ceramic piece, please call before sending.  The Art Blossom is not responsible for damage that may occur during shipping.

postheadericon For fundraising, how much will my school get back?

The Art Blossom recently simplified its school incentive formula.  Schools forwarding art for reproduction and formatting receive an enhanced percentage of sales.  The percentage also increases as orders increase.

20-30 20%
31-50 25%
51-75 30%
76+ 33%

* schools enrolled prior to September 1, 2010 will have their incentive based on either this formula or the previous one; returns will be based on whichever plan yields the higher return to the school.

postheadericon How much do prints cost?

8x10 vinyl wall panels start at $18 and greeting card packages start at $21.  Additional prints are available at a discounted rate so that you can send them to relatives or have one in your office.

postheadericon What makes your product different than other kid art products?

One of the main benefits of The Art Blossom prints is that children do not need to draw to the edges of the paper in order for the final product to look professional.  The Art Blossom photographs your art, then digitally removes the background when appropriate.

This makes our prints ideal for preschool watercolor, marker and crayon drawings. It doesn't matter what the original was created on, the only thing that matters is that you appreciate the content of the piece.

postheadericon Will I get a Digital Copy?

Parents may request a 1500x1800 pixel digital download with their purchase.

postheadericon What states do you serve?

The Art Blossom does business coast-to-coast and serves all states.  However, Alaska and Hawaii may incur a shipping surcharge, or additional transport time.

postheadericon Who owns the art?

By submitting pieces to The Art Blossom, you certify that you have the right to reproduce the image and that you grant The Art Blossom the right to photograph and format it. A number of art fundraising companies state: Copied images become property of [competitor's name] and may be used for display purposes.  At the Art Blossom, we still believe your art, regardless of your age, is your art.  In common courtesy, if we wish to promote your piece, we still ask for your permission.
